Welcome to Lickpenny Touring Park. It is located in the heart of the Derbyshire dales and stands within 16 acres of a truly picturesque setting. This tranquil retreat is set above the village of Tansley and near to the towns of Matlock and Bakewell.
Lickpenny are members of the BHHPA, have been awarded a 4 star rating with "Visit Britain". Have been awarded the Silver award for the David Bellamy conservation, and also hold a 4 star rating with 82% with the AA. They have been awarded a "Practical Caravans" Top 100 Parks rating for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009. They also have an Alan Rogers inspected logo, so you can be confident about Lickpenny's standards.
The park has an extensive range of facilities, and generous sized pitches. Although our pitches are large we now offer a number of extra large deluxe pitches, all of which have their own water, drainage and electric. Being elevated they have fantastic far reaching views.
Lickpenny accept caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, but not tents.
The park is well placed to enable you to visit the many nearby attractions. They also offer seasonal pitches at competitive prices. Rallies are welcome by prior arrangement. For peace of mind security gates are fitted. It is a barrier system and entry is by keypad operation.
Lickpenny is open all year round, has hardstandings and heated utility blocks so that you can enjoy "out of season" touring. Winter, spring, summer or autumn, this is a beautiful area to explore.
